About Lidia Froehler With her Godmothers inspiration, Lidia has been sewing since the age of 6 and always loved to create new projects. She took more interest in quilting for stress relief while working as a controller for large corporation. Her hobby soon grew into a full-blown addiction. After deciding she would rather run her own business then work for somebody else, she opened Cottons & More in July of 1999.
During the time Lidia operated the store she was designing quilt patterns that were exclusive to Cottons & More. Being dedicated to the store and clientele she was reluctant to go on a holidays, so she organized may successful quilting cruises and this allowed her to take quilters on holidays with her and a good time was had by all.
After 10 years as a successful shop owner Lidia retired to quilting and travel. Now, her love of fabrics & quilting continue to keep her busy and she has begun to develop a new line of patterns. Her greatest joys are designing, teaching, encouraging and supporting quilters.
