Barbara
Koroluk
|
Barbara Koroluk taught secondary school home economics for ten years before teaching adults to quilt. She started teaching beginners and refined her classes resulting in this wonderful book entitled THE QUILTED SAMPLER.
In Barbara's words, "In the last 25 years I've learned from classes I've taken, from fellow quilters, and from the many students I've taught in the Sampler Quilt classes (and other classes) at The Cloth Shop in Vancouver, at a number of Quilt Canada Conferences, and at many guilds".
Norma's Notes
- Barbara
Koroluk, quilter and quilt teacher has put together a wonderful workbook
in The Quilted Sampler. The instructions are clear and concise, the
diagrams are self-explanatory (I like picture words) and the colour
photos are motivating, a super buy with 52 quilting patterns.
- Barbara's
first book, Your Quilting Primer, is a wealth of information touching
on the fine-tuning of handiwork.
- Patterns
that bring back the romantic era, the 1930's Sampler Quilt and Crossed
Canoe & Cross Bars, Falling Leaves and Quilt of Many Stars are reintroduced
by Barbara.
