features, two pieced 8 - inch block patterns-each made up as small quilts.
Small quilts can be given to a special little girl for her doll, or they
can be used in home decorating. Of course, both patterns can be made into
larger quilts if you wish.

features eight different stars set with a plain block between the stars,
tied together with a ribbon-like lattice held at the corners of each block
by a small star block. The original design in 1934 was planned in shades
of blue and white; however the quilt in the cover photo was made up in
Christmas fabrics.
