Vases n Faces
NQP CAW-06 Wow! Not just one, but 18 different vase patterns are included which show profiles of men, women and children. --Plus 40 leaf and flower shapes to add flower arrangements if desired.
Do you see the faces? This pattern is based on a classic optical illusion, and can sneak up on you. Look at the edge silhouette of the vase.
Plain, solid colour vases show the faces best, while vases made from 2-3 fabrics and combined with flower appliqués are more subtle.
Fusible appliqué vases can be used on individual blocks or made into larger wall hangings. Some vases look like goblets, while others look more like candleholders or cake plates.

Spindizzy
NQP CFW-2 You'll be dizzy with possibilities!!
The basic 6" block and its mirror image can be combined to make 6 different 12" blocks that interconnect and flow from spirals to knots. If this isn't enough, add one more colour to make a windmill spin around the stars in the centre of the spirals. Study the loop block and find an angel--or sewn with other colours, you might see a spider!
Included in the pattern are the instructions, foundation patterns to copy, and a design worksheet to copy for colouring.
But watch out! You might want to spend hours just playing with the collared blocks from your design worksheet.
